This. Polls tend to have a 1-2 week lag behind current events (maybe more if it’s an aggregation and the various polls need to be, uh, aggregated).

I may have to catch a ride down there, and then another up to Huntsville on Friday. Fuck letting these shitstains off easy.

It’s more like when a country doesn’t have the draft people are really comfortable about starting wars others will be fighting.

I feel like this is the first time that people have expected her to actually work at her job. And I feel like she doesn’t actually understand what work entails.

I grew up in Birmingham and now live in New Zealand. The distance has helped tremendously in keeping my relationship to family civil.

I was a sophomore in high school when the Ten Commandments bs was going on, and my school decided to show their support for Judge Moore by having us paint the Ten Commandments on one of the walls. Participation was not voluntary and it was assumed we were all fine with that. To be fair, I’m pretty sure I was the only

The real problem here is why does a president need to be moderated? The president should have a firm grasp on reality and be in control of themselves, but Trump isn’t. He’s mentally ill, and he’s clearly not allowing his handlers to medicate him before important meetings.

I won’t lie, I was considering it. But I’m also fairly certain if I hear Sarah Palin’s voice in reality, my head will explode.

Sounds like you just got a golden opportunity to go throw tomatoes at them!

As it turns out, several analysts have pointed out that Kimmel actually got the health care bill pretty right, even better than the people who wrote the bill. So, here we are. The former host of the Man Show knows health care policy better than the people who are responsible for writing health care policy. Is Adam

Y’all, I got a robocall last night from “Doctor” Seb Gorka. Apparently he and Sarah Palin are coming to my town tomorrow to campaign for “Judge” Roy Moore. First of all, why are all of these people claiming fake honorifics they don’t have? Secondly, how the hell did I end up on that list? I don’t even have a local

“These are four of the best students, academically, behavioral-wise,” Wilson said. “They just made a bad decision.”

She also has no idea what words like ‘otherwise’ mean

their parents understand that their intent was not to offend

This is what can happen to a situation where students made a bad decision but once it gets on social media, it gets ramped up and it really spreads like wildfire.

I similarly adore Ted Danson, but is he actually a villan? I kind of love the idea that he’s just a bureaucrat trying really hard to do his job well (and his job is just to do evil).

That makes sense. And explains why Michael (MICHAEL!) found them so distasteful: he doesn’t like their style of old-fashioned torture. They’re rivals!

My heaven would be frozen custard. But yes, we are agreed, Fro Yo has no place except in the realm of the damned.

I STILL think they’re in purgatory. That the actual end of it all twist is the whole point was for them to develop into good people, possibly find soul-mates, and become people who would be happy in the actual good place.

My biggest question is whether Adam Scott and the other people from “the Bad Place” will return. And were they also actors, or were they from a different version of Bad Place torture?
