YES. OMG, YES.

Ditto. It was all pretty bad, but that was its own level of, uh, excrement.

Ditto. It needs to come back to Netflix streaming, dammit. It's good to see Max Greenfield getting media attention, too.

Retta and I need to be friends. Cupcakes + Newcastle = lunch of champions. Especially if you're online shopping at the same time.

It's SO GOOD. You're going to love it. Go to the Village of Avonlea in addition to Green Gables itself. It's more touristy, but it has Montgomery's church, and if I remember right, the school where she taught for a little while. And you can dress up like Anne :D

Oh my word! The Blue Castle is my favorite of her standalones. It's comfort reading when I'm feeling all misunderstood and cranky about life. Where was the play?

Phew. This relieves my mind - thanks!

AHHHHHHH! Don't screw this up, CBC! Or you will make legions of Anne fans angry. And when we get angry, we break slates over people's heads.

I think I love you for sharing this. Sharing with entirely too many of my friends....now!

Yes, but that could just be because of my extreme love for John Cho.

Good point. It would be lovely to not have to worry about the bureaucracy of grad school and just enjoy it. Though I wasn't commenting on his intellectual ability to juggle multiple grad programs at once - the basic requirements of multiple programs added together would equal more hours than there are in a day. And if

Seconded. I didn't initially read that as a joke, perhaps because it's such a serious accusation in academia that no one would dream of casually joking about it. Yeah, this reads like something an undergrad might write, and I might have my suspicions about Franco's ability to juggle umpteen graduate programs at once,

I can only imagine that she didn't want to get lotion on the ring - it can make it dirty & slippery. Of course, I think I'd rather risk that than potentially losing the ring at a park...says the woman who only recently found her own lost engagement ring.

That was the first Donald Sutherland movie that I can remember seeing. He really is a charming actor in any role, even when he plays creepy. Something about the voice...

Glad to know I'm not the only one!

Oh, Nikita=the best thing on the CW. I mainlined all of the first season on Netflix in less than a week and made my office mate watch it too. Love it.

I wish I could heart you all over again. Because you wrote everything that I wanted to say.

That just makes me rage-y. Must go rewatch the clip to erase that thought from my head.

YES. That's a good one to remember.

The UTA "pubic" example is why, when I write ANYTHING that includes the word public, I do a search for "pubic." Just in case. I am absolutely terrified of letting that typo slip through.
