No love for 1974?

Our local theater did a performance of The Ritz last year, and its still pretty funny. The theater was lucky enough to have a talented lady from Puerto Rico do the part of Googie. I knew Moreno won a Tony for the part, but I had no idea she actually invented the character. Wonderful stuff.

So it’s an uninspired remake of this Superfriends episode?

My paternal Grandmother also died on my birthday, but long before the kids were born.

Well, we evacuated Florida because of Irma. First to Atlanta, but now we’re in NC. There is a Church up here that we attend in the summers and they have a Wednesday night kids’ program, so we’ll be bringing cake. I think this weekend, I’m going to figure out where to get some good sushi for my own celebration.

The cruise I went on last week had a Guy Fieri Burger section. It was very popular. The veggie burger was even pretty good. 

I definitely saw bottles of rum. But mostly they were for sale in duty-free shops.

My weekend was mostly recovering from last week’s vacation, which was a cruise in the western Caribbean. We got back Saturday morning, visited with some friends and family, and then drove back home. OK, but now pushing the country leftwards will be that much harder because Trump appointed Neil M. Gorsuch to the court, and may get one or two more appointments over the next few years. So basically, if that was their thought process, they decided it was more important to push the party left than the actual country.

It’s the video for “Right Now” that puts it over the top. Somehow it makes the song better.
