BUT...are the elevators and stairwells ONLY in the Central Core?? Why don’t they have ANY in the periphery. I would think that they could have a Deployable telescoping outside fire escape or ladder system, or rappelling lines for Pete’s sake, to make SURE folks on the Upper Floors could get to safety.
