I won’t hold my breath, but I hope they get the book thrown at them. Can’t imagine them actually being reprimanded in any way, though...

Perhaps it’s the fact that we didn’t dedicate enough time to it, or it’s just hard, but my wife and I have restarted Divinity: Original Sin 2 about three or four times.

Can I just say the episodes about dementia/Alzheimers at the end of season 4 for Bojack Horseman were both beautiful and crushing in their depiction of losing memory and what it does to people. Not directly related to the open thread, but....

It’s more beautiful than I could have imagined...

one who boldly adds sugar and sliced American cheese to tinfoil, and microwaves the entire packet.”

I mean, I know it’s not the same thing, and it probably makes me a bad theatre person, but... I’m glad I didn’t drop $300-400 to sit in the nosebleeds to see the show when I was last in NYC (though many friends have said the live production is the only ‘true’ way to experience Hamilton, which could send us on a

If only these people had pulled themselves up by their bootstraps a little harder, the coronavirus wouldn’t have affected their livelihood... it’s their fault for not having a year’s worth of savings to weather any storm, that’s totally the norm in a country where most people can’t afford a $400 emergency. /s

Apparently, the Justice Department agreed, with prosecutors telling the court that the agency’s actions were “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn.”

““Sporadic for you, but not sporadic for a lot of other people ... That was fine, but I have heard we have a tremendous supply to almost all places.””

“I’m honestly turned absolutely all the way on by this rational, effective, and timely response to the situation at hand.

Not sure if it counts as old, but the wife and I have been playing Child of Light after the kids are asleep. It’s a quick game, but beautiful aesthetically and musically. And it makes us hopeful that, despite dark times, things will eventually get better (perhaps a bit idealistic, but we take what we can get)

First Trump’s ‘sarcasm’ and now this... I just don’t know whether to believe the press reporting on facts or this bunch of death cult liars. It’s a conundrum!

I mean, it makes perfect sense. Why show leniency for a nonviolent crime considering evidence that COVID-19 runs rampant in prisons when you can PUNISH HER WITH DEATH?!?!

Not that it’s surprising, but the administration has decided now is the time to sell a $100 commemorative coin... for fucking COVID-19... to commemorate a fucking pandemic. I just. What the fuck is wrong with these people?

It’ll probably play out much like the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing. People have already made up their minds about voting for/against someone in the general election, and not much is going to sway their opinion because of what Trump represents (to both Republicans and Democrats).

Thanks for your work here; I especially enjoyed reading your coverage of gender in gaming. Good luck bringing that anger and fire to your next job! Also...

She’s truly the living embodiment of Joanne from Company and I am here for it (and semi-related tangent - Audra McDonald, Meryl Streep, and Christine Baranski did a great “Ladies Who Lunch” for Sondheim’s 90th bday. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it: starts at 1:58:43)

“Even Jake Gyllenhaal was there, for some reason.”

I know this isn’t the most nuanced response, but... fuck this entire administration and everyone who willingly supports it
