DLW refers to a stipend that everyone gets directly from the federal government even if they have a job unlike your UBI unemployment insurance that we’ve had for decades and doesn’t work.

No, it’s a DLW not Unemployment Benefits.  It’s a wage paid to everyone that is not already earning a living wage.  Why would you want UBI?  It doesn’t address people who are working and earning less than a living wage.

A Direct Living Wage is a wage paid by the government to everyone unable to find a job that provides a living wage.  DLW is just for short.
