My personal truck is a 1968 Ford F100.  Power nothing.  3 on the tree.  Drum brakes.  No radio.  I would like the modern version of that.

the F-150 Work Truck trim with the minimum set of useful options (basically 8' bed, payload and towing packages and a bedliner) is $35k

well here is FLASH in Euro they sell these cars and one of em is the GOLF....basic trans one can afford...that’s why they have a GT too no not the GTI...a GT w/less hp and options but for the person that wants basic with a tinny bit of flair :)..... on the truck side one thing majority of folks dont even use em but

+1 for the Delta 88 reference...I disagree but it takes balls to bring that heat into this kitchen.

I’ve said many times - what America needs is a modern Delta 88. Basic, no frills, durable, boring, roomy, simple and cheap, built and sold en-masse, and left to age on a LONG running platform. “Heres the NEW 2026 Ford F-150, starting at just $19,999!”

The back end of the Camry is raging tire fire in general. Between that and the Lexus Predator Face, it seems that Toyota’s design department is just a bunch of bro’s locked in a room with a lifetime supply of Red Bull and Jager.

Comment more, you hosers. Shout down the lame comments with good ones.

Same! It was perennially the first site I checked each day on my PowerMac G3 running Netscape Navigator. The boards there are still delightfully antiquated and still incredibly functional.

Part of the reason I got so heavily into Saabs was the internet culture around them. Places like Saabnet.com had a distinct character: technical, helpful, serious and DIY-focused on everything from changing a side lamp bulb to rebuilding a gearbox. Things like trolling, flame wars, street racing threads, were just

Fair enough.

Do you pay your minimum taxes or do you donate more to “the cause”?

October 2012, I bought a Suzuki Kizashi. November 2012, Suzuki ceases selling cars in the U.S.

Ford may still have the trademark

Thunderbolt!

Still think calling it the Thunderbird would’ve been cooler

Mach-E will be built in Mexico, assembly should be much better.
