Bitcoin isn’t real? You think that paper the government prints till no end is real? Atleast like Gold there is a finite number of Bitcoins that can be mined. You’ll be whistling a different tune when the dollar collapses.

Bed-Stuy and Harlem are in two different boroughs.
Since the goal may be to push out the black people in the area, wouldn’t their racist ways be considered being fully aware of which side of the bread is buttered? Not that I support what they are doing, but it seems like they are trying to be hostile to the group that is already there in favor of the new tenants.
I absolutely love the way Wallenstein throws in a whole bunch of really awkward moments (Like the Sex Scene, or Grace Smoking while breastfeeding)
and doesn’t confront it or try to make it a moral. It just lets them hang there.
At the start of the game, BJ is wracked by injuries sustained at the end of The New Order. To compensate for his physical deficiencies, he dons a suit of power armor used by resistance leader Caroline Becker.
You’re either not high enough or you’re watching outdated episodes. South Parks charm is its comedy on current events.. once those events are no longer relevant they get stale over time.
Its not that South Park is not funny, it’s that shit that was funny 10 years ago, is no longer ALLOWED to be funny in the society we live in. I’m actually shocked shows like south park, family guy, even rick and morty haven’t been taken off tv entirely due to someone getting offended over something ridiculous.
I think this whole “South Park sucks now because they’re telling people not to care about things” is a really shallow reading of Trey and Matt’s body of work. It’s never promoted the idea that caring about things is stupid, rather it focuses on the tenancy for people to let their initial concern for a reasonable cause…
I almost like South Park more now than I did back in the day. As a kid, I either didn’t know or didn’t realize how much political and societal commentary there was in the show. Now that I recognize almost every episode what modern day issue they’re making fun of, it’s actually rather entertaining.
THIS is the real issue. Not this /r/iamverysmart crap about “white people humor.”
We’ve changed. South Park has always pushed the line, while more and more we back away from it.
I actually think it’s the opposite?
A douche and a turd sandwich was and will always be the proper way to refer to american presidential elections. I seriously recommend the last season, it was one of the best. Stick of Truth has had me howling as well. But I am an immature white dude so there’s that.
I think the issue is that in 2017 people are more and more afraid of acknowledging some of the failings, incoherencies and fallacies that causes, people, movements and ideologies they align with so plainly have.
I would argue that they are making fun more of the absurdity and hypocrisy surrounding “people who care”. There is a difference between believing/supporting something and being a fanatic.
If you liked the Book of Mormon but don’t like South Park anymore, I’m extremely skeptical about the sincerity of any argument for the latter that isn’t “I don’t like it when they needle some of the absurd extremities people I agree with or sympathize with take their arguments to”.
I can’t belive that people are still getting offended by South Park, humor in newer episodes is so tame in compare to first seasons. I still hame some great laughts whit it and can’t wait to play the game.
I just....I can’t....
I posted this during a discussion about this issue at the AVClub:
It’s true that the original trangressive slant of South Park worked better when we were lambasting regressive social norms, but now that norms have become more progressive it has served as fertilizer for conservative/regressive attitudes. Being…
