It kind of sounds like you thought Kotaku was a safe place where you could crack gay jokes and not get attacked for it? I apologize for reacting the way that I did, but you're in a comment thread for an article that is literally about why that's not okay.

It makes sense. I didn't have any expectations going in, or see any advertising or articles about this aspect of it — it was the first game I ever played — so there was nothing to be disappointed by. But if you spent three games thinking you'd have a personal ending, I can see the ones they gave us being pretty

I like that.

Jesus Christ. u mad?

And then — as you said — it got replaced, because you guys weren't happy with it, and now it isn't the ending. I don't understand the point of repeating this over and over, that the original ending sucked, as if that's the end of it.

Sounds like a lot of expectations. I mean, that's not a bad thing, I just bought the game without knowing anything about what I was getting into, and I loved it. I guess if I'd been picturing all this divergent choice-tree things all that time I would be pretty disappointed too. I've never understood the backlash

You know, I never really thought about this but you're right. The Rachni stuff was so intense — and I do remember picturing the exact same image when I saved her. I'm with you.

Ugh. Even if you didn't have the completely wrong idea about how the ME3 LI worked — which you do — that would still be a ludicrous reason.

I don't see how "evolving" into finally understanding something you should know from the get-go makes her a better teammate than a person who shows up already knowing basic shit like "racism isn't cool." I mean, I get what you're saying, and her evolving viewpoint seems like an awesome storyline to play through, but

Given the choice between a racist who slowly becomes less of a racist, and somebody who shares my values from the get-go, I'm going to allow the person into my house and team who already knows basic shit like "Don't hate other people." But considering your manners here, I guess we can consider the source...

Well, it could also be that we have different values from yours — not necessarily that we're too stupid to see how right you are. Given the choice between a racist — who becomes ... less of a racist — and somebody who doesn't have that going on to begin with, it's still an easy call.

Is this is nitpick with his wording, or a complaint about the ending? Because the Extended Cut ending is the ending.

I really liked this. I wish it was ten times longer!

Clicks on a piece about anti-gay corporate policies that have people really upset... Makes blithely homophobic pee-pee poo-poo jokes about gay people, contributing nothing else. Just a couple jokes about buttfucking, tee hee hee, and you're done.

At first I thought that, but now I think it's the boner. Boners are the definition of pornography in every medium except the internet.

Troll harder. Christ, what an asshole.

Kotaku can't read their minds, but you can. Got it.

That isn't what homophobia means, and you know it. And nobody cares if you care. All in all, a strange post for you to be commenting on.

Learn to read, maybe.

The last thing gay people need is Jezebel speaking for them more than they already feel entitled to do.
