True, as a woman I don’t want gender neutral bathrooms outside of single-use ones. It isn’t because of trans people but out of discomfort with pervy men.  Most places can accommodate the needs of trans and gender neutral folks without having all gender neutral bathrooms.

There are definitely very legit cases of harassment and discrimination out there. But I always view stories like “Ellie’s” with the understanding that at least a certain percentage are made up by people who want attention. Some news sources just don’t research these accounts properly.

There are a lot of people who are only famous because they were married or connected to more well-known people. Pegi sounds like a cool lady and as the spouse of a man with Cerebral Palsy, I applaud her advocacy. But she wouldn’t have an obituary without her link to Neil. Going with “Discarded wife” to describe her

What main cast? Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley’s stories are wrapped up. I especially doubt Knightley would want to star in a film where she’s now Mom to a 20-something kid. The newer characters have been really lackluster - it isn’t like the last films made superstars out of folks like Brenton Thwaites or any

I don’t want to support Piers Morgan but it is hard to imagine that those vegan “sausage rolls” are all that great.  I’ve never had a really good vegan sausage.  If anyone knows of any, let me know, as I would love a tasty substitute for sausage.

Some on TV Line were guessing the Lion was Rumer Willis, given she’s from a famous family, the references to lions/pride and her former role on Empire about a family called the Lyons. She also has a lion tattoo.

Possible Spoiler Alert-

Bubble deserves more love because it is a comedy fiction podcast and sometimes I get a bit tired of the many many sci-fi and horror fiction podcasts out there, great as a lot of them are.

The idea that menstruation is connected to spiritual uncleanliness is found in a lot of global religions/societies dating back to the earliest ones. Early humans just didn’t find periods very appealing.

Issues of sex and reproduction are pretty important for any future space community, though this rather unimaginative piece doesn’t seem to care. And NASA honestly hasn’t done much in this area so I am okay with a private company doing this work. There is a certain pro-choice attitude at work here because pregnancy in

Not that this isn’t a big problem for these folks but it is weird that the article cited thousands of cases of this superbug among already injured people but didn’t mention a single death caused by it.

There are a lot of great restaurants and shops in downtown St. Pete plus a fine waterfront park and some interesting museums.  Much more walkable than downtown Tampa too.

The problem is mostly licensing but the dominance of for-profits is a problem too. A lot of community colleges offer cosmetology training at much lower costs but that option doesn’t reach enough people who would benefit.

Seems rather blown out of proportion to me. There seems to be more of a scandal over his legal and consensual come-ons being silly than his being married. And give me a break over one story saying this ties into the MeToo movement somehow.

Given Trump and Clinton’s family baggage in the last election, I can see perhaps that voters might like a single candidate. But I wish he did have a spouse or someone in his life. Going by his word that he’s straight, having no wife or any serious relationship (and don’t tell me he hasn’t had a massive number of

This is a story of a gift my dad gave my mom some 20 years ago. It was her main gift and it was a pricy Mayan fertility necklace. Not only was the necklace clunky and ugly but- a. Neither of my parents had an interest in Mayan art and culture. b. My dad had a vasectomy years before that and they had no interest in

I imagine part of the problem is that girls who  sing like Taylor would rather be pop singers which is considered more glamorous than country stardom.

Good choices though I would add last year’s failed nominee Kate Bush and, as the Hall has allowed pop acts in, Whitney Houston and Barbra Streisand.

Some nice choices this year. Roxy Music and The Cure getting in were pleasant surprises - The Hall has neglected British acts of the 70s and 80s for too long.  Def Leppard was a British exception as the Hall loves arena rock so I knew they’d make it.
