It will make some difference but it won’t necessarily turn the state blue. Some felons will vote Republican and many probably won’t vote at all. But it could have made a difference in tight races like Gillum’s and Nelson’s.

Unfortunately, progressive candidates lost in a bunch of states too, including my state of Florida.  Progressives can easily win in states with Democratic majorities but getting through in divided ones is a lot harder, alas.
