There was a bit of a ruckus on Twitter a while back involving him and a few other people regarding same-sex marriage, fat-shaming and a generally rather unfriendly atmosphere. Adam Baldwin was also there if I remember right, at least in the beginning. I must admit I didn't really follow the events too closely, so

I think it's been hinted at or mentioned that the Hotel is actually run by the Dixie Mafia.
Which would also explain why they're still allowed to stay there despite Boyd having blown a guy up in one of their rooms.

My guess would be Bowman's habit of beating Ava while they were married combined with the Crowders' long-standing criminal tradition and the corresponding reputation.

Somebody down below did the math on the show's timeline, and apparently it's something between fifteen and sixteen and a half.

I wouldn't say I'm tired of her, but I recently rewatched season 4 (among others), and I had kinda forgotten how merciless she was towards Ellen May.

Considering Rachel is acting chief, maybe they'll make that permanent and just keep Art around as a mascot?

For Loretta good footwear might be especially important because she could get into a situation where running away is her best or even only defence against an opponent.

That's a good point about the security.
It's been a few years, but I remember reading an article about people often not calling the police about gunshots unless there were quite a few.

Very.

Yeah, I guessed that the heist would fail, although I didn't quite guess the specifics of the 'how'.
I sure am curious to see Boyd trying to steal that money in transport now.

As Neil McCauley said in Heat:
" What if you do got me boxed in and I gotta put you down?"

If I remember right, the hotel is run by the Dixie Mafia. Hell, Boyd blew up a guy in there and no law enforcement ever seemed to check up on that either.

Or that, that would work too.

Well, Art has mentioned a few times that he's bored, so maybe he needs to let off some steam on occasion. Or steam others in their tanning beds. Whatever.

He reminds me a bit of Jody Adair from season 4. Very much thought of himself as a gunslinger (although he didn't have the quickdraw holster). Very much got a few bullet holes courtesy of Raylan.

I had been wondering for a while about the in-universe timeline but never got around to working it out. Thank you for that.

I think him knowing the law is coming for him for serious this time around adds some extra pressure, so he's more prone to taking risks than usual.

Don't feel too depressed, it depends a lot on the dude and the moustache I'd say. And hey, sooner or later moustaches will make a comeback, it's the way of the world (although I'm a beard guy myself and don't really feel right with just a moustache, but hey, I don't begrudge others their upper-lip pleasures).

For once I would like to see explosions done realistically in TV or a movie. The only example which comes to mind is The Hurt Locker, when Guy Pearce's character gets killed in the beginning from the shock wave if I recall correctly.

I think they intend to use the footage of Wynn torturing creepy prison guard to put Wynn and Mikey away once the dust has settled. Revealing that they have that evidence might just make Wynn run. Also, the perspective of what Katherine Hale will do to Wynn if she finds out he was the snitch who got her husband killed
