Hm, since he's been hamming it up as Frank Underwood, that brought me to the idea that maybe he could do it in character?

I was a bit bummed out when Heroes got inexplicably cancelled after that pretty promising first season. Ah well, better than running it into the ground I suppose.

He probably didn't have enough mana or whatever to properly make use of the magical items he was playing around with.

Don't forget about the character names… dear lord!

Doesn't Academy Law state that after winning an Oscar your career has an obligation to kind of simmer out, with the odd exception here and there?

Perfect analogy.

Yeah, something like that probably (it's not like the interactions weren't worth it though IMHO).

Ah yes, poor Nelson. At least he seems to have dodged that bullet then.

True, they've had a freaking hostage situation in there.

You say the sweetest things, darling.

Poor Nelson, forever getting screwed in-show as well as in reviews.

Finally somebody mentions that! I should rewatch the show and try to find out how many times that poor guy has been screwed over now.

True dat.

Well, you know, it has that certain "Je ne sais quoi" I suppose (i.e. splattering your target's innards all over the place).

Oh, nice choice. I actually think I still have four episodes to go on that one in the last season.

Happy to be of service, no problem.

It was, I rewatched the scene to be sure. There were no blanks in the magazine he took out of the gun, it was empty. And when he racked the slide after having put in the magazine with the ammo, no cartridge was ejected from the chamber, so there was no round in there either, blank or otherwise.

See my answer to ElectricSheep. :-)

Touché.

True, the stress of the situation combined with her not being very experienced with handguns would probably explain it. As said, I'm more annoyed that this never comes up, anywhere, ever, than in this specific situation.
