Great tips. I'd like to think I used many of these in my debut novel. That's right, I just got my first book out, a fun sci-fi adventure that lovingly plays around with the familiar tropes of the genre, you know: robots, time-travel, spaceships. The normal stuff.

I've worked in the gaming industry for a while now and I never understood these kinds of articles. Nobody is making anywhere near these figures. $85k for programmers? $71k for artists? No, it's not true. I don't know how they attain these digits.
