Haha yeah I could've definitely worded my sentence better.

I actually think this is very plausible. Cobie Smulders took a break from acting to spend time with her kids after HIMYM ended. That was 2 years ago now? I think she's ready to dive back in. Also, she is definitely not as expensive as Samuel L Jackson and won't require CGI.

The only quibble I had was that Mack didn't actually use the axe part he only used the butt of the gun. I guess that might be too bloody for network TV though.

Welcome to season finale time.

This scene actually confused me so much the first time because I heard multiple gunshots but only one appeared in Elena. Did she catch the other 5 or did they all just miss Mack?

I think they knew they wanted to include James from the start but they didn't know whether they liked Joey or Elena better. (They probably had to choose one because more inhumans means more $$$ and they want to use their $$$ for really cool CGI) So they had them both join and go on a few missions and then decided

It's usually because TV literally has more time to set up the villains properly whereas the movies give the villains like 5 mins for their backstory

The showrunners did say they were open to getting Mockingbird and Hunter back onto AOS. Lincoln's death was done perfectly, I think most people felt a little bit of Daisy's pain even if they hated the character.

Simmons with a crowbar was gold. The first thing I thought when Elena was shot was oh good now she won't die in space.

It's only because Ward never actually heard/knew that she started calling herself Daisy
