Wow.

This was an eye opening article to see what goes on behind the scenes, and thank you for that. Pretty brave of you. As someone that flies drones professionally, as well as reviews gear professionally, I got to say I’m a bit surprised at your reaction. I mean, you did fly it into a fence, and you did ignore the user

Yeah, I am going to have to back with DJI on this one. You took weeks to reply, and months to send one unit back? I’ve flown my P3P since April of last year and have yet to crash it once, yet I’ve logged over 300 flights in all terrain. Many in ATTI mode since I had no GPS, and guess what, I still didn’t crash the

I think (at least the claim here is) that he was trying to test the auto avoidance feature. He forgot that in sport mode it wouldn’t work. The result: full speed crash into a fence.

I’m pretty sure if you had paid for the drone, this kind of “testing” wouldn’t have happened.

I watched the video and you actually crashed it into the exact same fence twice. I can understand why DJI was peeved. One accident is maybe understandable, but two in a row, into the exact same object? Seems like you’re not even attempting to be careful, just purposefully trying to slam it into things to see what

Exactly, that fence is huge. It’s tall and has overhangs at the top. Plus, there appears to be trees not too far behind it. If the drone wasn’t intentionally crashed then where exactly did the operator think he was flying it at that speed, that low, and with so many obstacles around? Watching the clip I'd think it was

It wasn’t an accident. This excerpt from the review:

For what it’s worth, I also thought you purposefully crashed the drone - the video absolutely makes it look that way.

You fucking idiot. You are seriously going to try and say it was an accident when the video, that you linked to in the article, is titled:

It’s part of the shtick. We love watching trainwrecks and Giz is aware of that. “What me crash this drone” will get more hits than “we reviewed this drone”. It was a calculated move.

They even told you not to do it, your a fucking jerk and the editor as nice as she seems didn’t one send it out in time and two had a salty tone with em, They give you free review products and you use that shit for more views or hate, Fuck you people, Can see how your linked to your sister shit site.

I imagine it was more about getting the unit out of the hands of someone they deem negligent. I know it couldn’t have been good for their PR to see their product intentionally crashed in a review.

Well I sure as hell know I don’t believe you.

Shouldn't have crashed their drone. Next time try not crashing the drone.
