Chad has given me so many jaw dropping moments on the runway - the Florence and the Machine look, the Mamie Eisenhower inaugural look, that giraffe catsuit with highlighter hair….Love me some Chad Michaels. In drag, the plastic surgery really works. Stunning.

I actually think Santino might like her. He definitely respects contestants who have a lot of drive and play the game, no matter how shitty they are as people. He sees kindred spirits.

I do not understand humorless drag queens, and Phi has never done a funny thing on this show. OK, I will allow for the recreation of Latrice's Showgirls moment on the runway, but 95% of her jokes do not land.

I noticed it too. There was just something about it that seemed deliberately petty to me.

I think at some point she was in some sort of accident (car? on a movie?) that required some corrective surgery, but then it kind of snowballed.

The cuts to Dita von Teese sitting alone in the Gold Bar were killer. I love the editing on this show.

Chad was giving me some Merle Ginsberg realness in her first look, and I liked it. I was impressed with Sharon's ability to show a range of looks, esp her Lohan party girl. Glad she won since I hated all of Phi's looks. Mostly I am really sad to see Latrice go, and even sadder that Phi remains and will probably win

So, Santino had a peel or something, right? He looks freshly worked on.

@eric827:disqus I fervently share your hope. When did Kenya say she didn't write the letter?

I definitely thought we were going to get the non-elimination episode there. I appreciate your eye for producer manipulation.

Turns out I remain mad that Vogue went to Kenya and Milan. Vogue is definitely the Madonna song to get, and I would bet that they don't like to repeat LSFYL artists (other than Ru of course) in one season.

I'm looking forward to it too. I get the feeling that it is something that Phi is going to drum up about Sharon's ability to pivot on a dime and "sell life insurance to a dead person" as she likes to say. Ru doesn't really care if you bend the rules, she expects it. You just can't outright break them, like Willam.

It's a tricky line. Last season Raja toned down her look so she wouldn't outshine her lump of a guy and that hurt her as much as Carmen trying to force her jock into a bikini.

Agree - more shows need to incorporate cuts to Latrice laughing.

I'm not certain, but I think they get it the day before the runway. There are some episodes where it is built around whoever the guest judge is, some times like last night where the song seems made for one person over the other (also "Everlasting Love" for Dida vs. The Princess), and some where the song feels like a

"I wish there was a word to describe the pleasure I feel at viewing misfortune."

I appreciated Dida for knowing that she had room to grow; I can't wait to see her in a few years. I think she really took advantage of being able to learn from queens like Latrice and Chad.

If Phi were Satan, wouldn't she like Sharon more?

For one number, she reprised the angel/devil It's Raining Men lipsync with Mimi Imfurst in the angel role. Mimi mocked Phi admirably and hoisted Sharon over her shoulders.
