I don’t know if I can agree with her actions especially since it sounds like it was against a student reporter. Also, it seemed to have caused damage for the student protests and is being used against them.
Her rationale was that minority students protesting injustice should be given safe spaces in the public areas where they are protesting, and therefore should not have to answer to the press.
I don’t quite understand why she was trying to ban the press. What was her rationale for her actions?
