why does the canopy has to be totally enclosed? Can't it be open on the top but have it go past the drivers helmet?

It's true that the Cars are slower but haven’t more people died in IRL?
How ironic would it be if they stopped going to ovals. One of the whole reasons for the split was CART racing too many road courses.
True, but people actually care about NASCAR in this country and imo the fans demanded that it became safer and were very vocal after Srs death. No one cares about indycar. There are no stars, no household names it’s a stuggling series with no money and no interest. They are only going to care about safety when they…
That looks like something straight out of The A-Team

Giant front wheels, but really anything that makes a motorcycle less rideable.
In my experience you’re paying for build quality and it makes a difference. For example the more expensive the helmet, the quieter it is.
I bought an rf1200 when they were released. (Arai helmets don't fit me) If it fits your head I can’t recommend it enough. It’s an Amazing helmet in every way. Weight, visibility, style (especially in white) noise, airflow. I love mine.
Correct me if I’m wrong but in North America don't you need a snell 2010 rated helmet to participate in a track day anyway?
In my opinion CART was better then F1 at the time. I'm sure a lot of people would disagree with me which is fine, but a series that rivaled F1 to what it is now just makes me sad.
