My brothers nephew uncles cousin was an engineer that used to work for GM in the 70’s. While there he created a carburetor that got 100mpg!!!! Unfortunately he died in mysterious circumstances and all his notes were lost.... The only witnesseses to his death saw a Mobil oil truck speeding from the scene.
From a dr650 owner all of these ADV bikes seem so huge to me.
Don’t forget the DR650. Cheaper, Lighter, Maybe slightly more reliable, Lower and better off road then the KLR.
As a dr650 owner i really feel like its almost the perfect bike.
