Agreed. For me the leading lady spoiled it as did the too cute bad guy. Remake it with a true kick ass woman and it would be amazing.
I've seen it. It's 2/3rd's of a great film, and then totally tosses it all away at the end. Almost like they either ran out of ideas or money. Or both. That said: the first 2/3rd is amazing.
Stallone now hates this film and blames it for the dry spell that followed. I agree with everyone else: it's a solid film and he's a much better actor when he does not have to do the same thing over and over again. Maybe if Stallone had been willing to walk away from the lure of the big payday he could have carved…
