They're not reinventing or being subversive- people always want to chide Barbie for the dolls figure, but forget that the doll has always been an example of different careers for girls. Barbie was an astronaut before there were female astronauts and a president before we'll have a female president.

I think this must be the first postive(ish) post about Barbie that I have ever read from Jezebel. Usually it's just 'BARBIE INSTILS NEGATIVE BODY IMAGES IN YOUNG GIRLS', which it definitely doesn't.

I'm sure they don't mean anything by it, but I can't get over the weirdness that this supposedly empowering career for a woman involves the word "Incubator" in the title. Am I alone?

That's the thing that got me, too. These are not men who should be detectives.

Didn't you know? Semen and foreign pubic hairs are common complications of MS.

"'You sure about her MS?' That's all they kept asking me," said Kris' mother. "'Are you sure she didn't fall and this isn't MS?'

It is. I feel disgust. How can people like this become police?

Christ. I don't have any words for this and certainly can't craft a "highlight-worthy" comment, but feel compelled to say that my thoughts are with this woman and her loved ones. This is absolutely gut-wrenching.

No, it's just a REALLY good corset...it will suck in space and time as well as your waistline.

Bwahahahahaha! That is awful.

Am I the only one creeped out by the doctors rating the women's "attractiveness"? My doctor's seen my asshole and palpitates the lymph nodes in my thigh; I am super uncomfortable about the notion that he has even the slightest awareness of my attractiveness or non-attractiveness.
