you know what i will miss most about obama?

We won’t see a presidential press conference of this caliber once Trump takes over.

You can’t buy love though.

Only one. I dated this nerd to make him look cool because I really needed the money to replace the white suede outfit I had borrowed without my mom’s permission.

Am I the only one who just enjoys walking around, getting Pokestops, fighting gyms, exploring and happening upon Pokemon along the way? Like, I don’t need to know exactly where each one is, I’d rather have the servers up and running than have coordinates on each Pokemon. Not only that, but in the GameBoy games there

Nope. And the guy looks like he developed a bad... terminal illness.

That all-American football player look has just never done it for me. I mean, personality wise I think he’d be a lot of fun to hang with. But nothing about him sets my panties on fire.

Didn’t read the article? The boss changed the dress code after the fact because they didn’t want pony tails or head scarves.

my natural hair texture is AWFUL. i’m all for self love and acceptance and all that, but at the same time, i love and accept myself more when my hair is as unnatural as humanly possible...

I’ve been fortunate to never have a problem with my natural hair at work. However, most of the people you see on youtube or whatever either have those curls genetically or did some serious work to get them. I agree that the community seems to celebrate those people above all others, but don’t let that discourage you.

I would try Madame CJ Walker’s products to help you manage your locks. I’ve just tried the hair butter and it’s great. Then find a stylist who will find a look for you.

None of those pictures are accurate!!! I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent scrolling websites trying to find *the* product that will render my hair with individual curls, what not... Does not exist!

Most curly girls have different textures all over their heads, and most of the natural hair pics you see are women who’ve spent hours doing a twist out two days before only to re-twist it that night before they go to bed.

it takes a while for you to get used to. some days i don’t love my natural hair either, mainly because my kinks and coils aren’t all uniform either and it took me a while to find a routine that worked for my hair type (4 something or the other). anyway, braid outs work for me and the max hydration method, though time

I know it’s not for everyone, but I get around this by never wearing makeup in the first place. Although I still get the “You look tired today,” sometimes which we all know is just code for “Damn, you look like shit.” FUCK OFF.

Just chiming in to let you know I know your struggle. It took me a long time to reconcile with my natural hair. I went natural at 19 and I don’t think I wore it out until I was 21. There was a lot of wigs and weaves and braids in that period while it was transitioning and then once it was done I had idea what to do

people think i’m crazy when I say i love humidity... but it makes my hair look so damn good! no styling product or treatment can mimic that shit.

Hi! I think it SUCKS that you feel like you have to put in a ton of effort to be presentable and “professional.” Eff that.

Check out Original Moxie. We participated in a natural hair event in Detroit this weekend. Almost every woman said their hair wouldn’t curl, but we made it happen. And, it’s easy, and you don’t have to do it everyday, and I’ll stop for now...

My hair is also curly/wavy in back and straight in front! Pick one goddamnit!
