Mercy was the most meta-restricting hero in the game, so it’s definitely good that this is happening. I do wonder if this means the meta will change such that we don’t see every high level match contain a Genji, Winston, and Tracer on each side too. (Be nice to see mah bae Sombra out there a little more often.)
Because she has resurrect, and despite Blizzard originally thinking things like Symmetra’s teleporter and Lucio’s sound barrier were similar gameplay devices, they aren’t as good, so she’s basically a 100% pick in any serious play.

I’m concluding it because myself and the other Casual Cassies who make up my guild and who generally give opinions online about video games have largely stopped playing it by now. I’m working on finishing all of the locations right now and wow, there is a LOT in this game.
Yeah... I had no idea they changed that because after like 65 hours with that game I just have zero interest in playing it more. Got plenty of good times out of it, but their attempts at events for post-game really let me down.
I’m glad I stopped bothering with this. The first faction rally, I maxed out my chests and never got one of the armor pieces. It just never dropped. It was bad luck and it was complete bullshit. Why Bungie insists on doing stuff like this instead of just giving players what they want I’ll never understand.
