My coworker’s baby loses his mind and starts wiggling like a maniac whenever he hears this song:
The songs that actually made me smile most this year were the little twitter ditties composed by Paul F. Tompkins: the vanity license plate jingles and alternative theme songs (The Phantom Thread theme in particular). Demi Adejuyigbe’s end credits raps were great as well.

Listened to Anthony Bourdain read the audiobook of Kitchen Confidential. Bittersweet but really entertaining.
My mom goes on an on about how much she loved listening to the audiobook of Vanity Fair while doing yardwork. I may give it a go.

There’s apparently going to be a Suits spin-off series set in Chicago (I saw them filming by my office downtown!)...maybe the Obamas could cameo in that.
Drama sells, so of course the tabloids are gonna play up that angle. Meghan’s already begun using her platform to help others while doing something she cares about — she helped the Grenfell Tower fire victims publish a cookbook earlier this year.
Of course, it’s a masterpiece (but I wouldn’t want to be named Cher).
