I think I liked Evanstache because it fits his accent (and he had it because he was playing a cop, so I admired how perfectly it fit the role)

I’m really looking forward to the new season, while also trying not to because if there’s one thing I’ve learned from BoJack Horseman it’s don’t get your hopes up about anything!

is it weird that I found Chris Evans’ mustache strangely endearing? Captain America with a beard is his best look though, no contest

Yes! I can picture all those illustrations perfectly...For me the series that stands out is the progress of breast development featuring the girl with the towel on her head. I spent lots of time trying to determine which stage I was in by comparison.

If Tara Reid really wants that sweet fan cash she should launch a line of Bunny Lebowski toenail polish...

*sigh* oh well.........suppose I’ll still get to see him being sexy in a tux when he wins the Oscar for whatever he’s gonna do instead.

SUCH a sick day movie — I associate Ever After and the original BBC Pride and Prejudice miniseries with gray winter afternoons spent wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. I love any entertainment that features empowered intelligent female characters in empire-waist gowns.

I thought it had already closed a while ago? I grew up in Fort Wayne and remember driving past the Seyfert’s factory on the way to the mall — guess it was still operational that whole time. Somehow I missed out on a school field trip tour but my younger siblings got to go and hear all about the potato chip lady.

Really? I’m getting more Stephen Colbert.

She was so good in The Crown! Even with the blonde hair I chose watch the new Mission:Imposible movie thinking of Kirby’s character as Princess Margaret.

I really like their “market vegetables” vegetarian option.

Omg she is SO nasty to that little girl in Patrick Melrose

I SO appreciate your openness about the stress of hair loss. In July I suddenly discovered a bald patch on my scalp about the size of a poker chip — WTF?! (had no idea it’d developed because the way I usually part my hair keeps it covered) I was/still am super freaked out and self conscious about it, but it did help

When I saw Hereditary in the theater, I was SO FUCKING SCARED I kept trying to distract myself by focusing on how nice their house was (and when I got home I calmed down by re-reading Hazel’s piece about how to emulate the fashions of Annie Graham)

I watched What Lies Beneath at a girl’s sleepover birthday party in middle school — it was the first “scary movie” I saw in a group and it remains my absolute ideal when it comes to horror films: gave me the perfect excited-frightened buzz but no bad dreams.

every time I read her name I think of the dolphin from BoJack Horseman:

The most important hair evolution was Michael’s from season 1 to season 2 — the show was wise to stop styling him like a slimy knockoff David Brent and let Steve Carell’s character be his own thing (and I will always love Michael’s evolution to Silver Fox for his cameo in the final episode).

Now playing

One of my favorite MBMBAM moments of all time: Warrior Cat Names

Jane Lynch is in it briefly, too! She wrote in her memoir about how it was her first big role.
