I am not a fan of Jimmy Buffet, but I’m a huge fan of Justin McElroy-being-a-fan-of-Jimmy Buffet. Justin’s story about having to go to Joe’s Crab Shack instead of Margaritaville is ICONIC:

Ron’s solution to the trolley problem: do not ride trolleys.

Leslie+Ann’s dynamic is like a more evolved version of Eleanor+Tahani

Also why he’s obsessed with staying in peak physical condition —he knows how fragile human bodies are

I do think it would be funny if Chidi and Ron could meet...Chidi might benefit from a dose of Swansonian philosophy.

And Ann Perkins was *literally* an angel.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Ben Wyatt was secretly Trevor the demon the whole time. Lo-Cal Calzones, The Cones of Dunshire, Ice Town — all of his ideas are straight outta the Bad Place.

I accidentally downloaded the German version of “Wannabe” off Limewire in middle school

My favorite Spice Girls deep cut is their cover of The Waitresses’ “Christmas Wrapping” — it’s infinitely superior to the original because it mentions Tesco, which I continue to find very exotic/delightful. It’s on the 4-song album they released after Ginger left the group (preteen me also owned Geri Haliwell’s solo

That’s a comedy. I guess this series is considered a “drama” because it’s based on a James Patterson novel?

I first became aware of Christine Baranski when she played Mary Sunshine in Chicago. I’d love to see her co-star with Alan Cumming in a musical sometime (also doesn’t she look like an older Taylor Swift?)

I doubt her house looks like that anymore. Red was released in late 2012, so she was still transitioning outta country/love story/teenage Taylor when this place was decorated — I think she sold the Nashville penthouse a while back. At the very least she’s probably hired better interior designers now.
