Quality original programming has made it worth another 2 bucks a month to me. And at the rate they are expanding that, another dollar hike is likely again in the next 2 years. As long as I’m pleased with content, I’ll pay it.

While it’s great seeing old cool stuff, I do want to see more new cool stuff. Seemed to me like, well, a blast from the past.

My father was much like Scalia: had intelligence, great stories & a sense of humour in his better moments, but thoroughly a product of his time and upbringing. I continue to hope that such bigoted & unkind views will also die, and very soon.

For 2015, I really thought CREED was a movie so good it was worthy of awards regard. I’m glad you mention Thomas-Alexandre Dumas- for ages I’ve been looking for this screenplay to be made.

I love Elba because he’s a talented actor. Honestly, my main interest is performance, not skin. It’s a very tough balance between finding the best people for jobs and pleasing the viewers. I feel for casting directors & agents these days, especially when it’s a historical or period production.

It would be the highest hypocrisy if Leto’s Joker’s completely random, prone to wild violent demonstrations and/or bursts of kindness are rejected. Because those are today’s real life headlines.

I thought I would disagree more, but wow, I only disagree with 2. My biggest 2015 disappointment was THE AMERICANS S2, but since it had such cool vibe & action in S1 + I like cast, still on the DVR list & will get another shot in 2016. Maybe they went back to interesting form.

Laughing Out Loud at the last comment about Twitter. I understand demographics but still don’t understand the need for it. No, not even THREE women can speak for every woman.
