I never found that documentary very compelling or revealing. A lot of time is spent on that one performance artist guy, and I felt like they didn’t get much from Varg (though of course fascist murderers are rarely as interesting as you’d think they’d be)

I dunno. I don’t think there’s anything inherently “inauthentic” about being a death-obsessed nihilist and being independently wealthy. It’s not like these guys were singing about the plight of the working man.
