Part 2 is actually one of my favorite movies of all time. You get THE FUTURE, which by itself justifies its existence, but then you also get the alternate present, which is probably the best part of the movie, and you even get to go back to the first movie, which blew my mind as a young man.

He is the one who KNOX!

Just thinking about it now: Maybe the act was for herself, in order to have the courage to go through with it? Maybe she needed to step outside herself and into this role to grow the stones to stab her husband? Just a thought.

The act, I assumed, was for the husband in order to catch him off guard. But I don't know, man. You make good points. This movie wasn't built to stand up under scrutiny, but I'd be damned if it didn't work in the moment.

Shit, I just realized a huge omission: the 2000 film WONDER BOYS with Michael Douglas. Released in February and tanked at the box office, then they tried to make some money back by re-releasing it in November and it still tanked. Got shut out of the Oscars too, except for Bob Dylan's song. Did I mention its awesome?

March 6, 1998. I'd argue that's close enough to qualify.

I thought about that movie, but I'm not sure it could be considered a flop. I feel the same way about Zodiac, which was released 2 weeks after Breach. Man, that was a solid winter for movies, eh?

Good list, but I would've included Zodiac for sure on this list. Of course its debatable whether or not it qualifies as a flop. It made 33 million domestic on a 65 million dollar budget. Yes, it made its budget back overseas, and yes, it opened at number 2 here in America, but it quickly fizzled out after that first

Is Jimmy Cliff in the Pussy Riot doc, the Sound City one, or the Muscle Shoals one? It doesn't specify in the article. I saw his picture and was instantly like "Fuck yeah, Jimmy Cliff", but when I read on to find out which movie had the good sense to feature him, it said nothing about him. So, which one is it?

I boarded the Arrested Development train way after everyone else did. I'm not sure why, either. I think that its similar to what you're saying, but also something about me that I kinda don't like, honestly. Whenever people, and I mean a lot of people, hound me about checking something out ("You HAVE to see/hear/read

The sad thing is that now Louie can't ever go to that trailer park in Huntington Beach. Damn…. (sheds single tear)
