Just wanna say, I called it.
Just wanna say, I called it.
I'm sure we'll all pitch in, regardless.
I actually had a genuine question about a specific incident happening to a specific character, but I edited it because now *I'M* afraid of being Weinered.
REVIEW SPOILER ALERT:
neeeever mind.
It's not like he had a choice…many reviews have pointed out Weiner's fairly-restrictive talking points (or not-talking points, really) that accompanied the screener. The closest review I've seen that tries to actually tell us something without telling us everything is the Vulture review. Shit, RS tried to pass of a S5…
Super-enjoyed it. Also, watching Hugh Dancy feed and bathe a stray dog, it's like I started seeing him through Claire Danes eyes.
I'm so glad we can all come here and love Nicolas Winding Refn before we start hating him.
Easily the most poorly written character on the show. That's fine for an good actor needing to get his name out there, as he can out-act the material. But it would surely suck for someone who is now getting due recognition as a good actor to continue to contend with playing the kitchen sink character.
I wish OFWGKTA would start with Chris Brown.
Now I wanna see Gosling in a Gaspar Noe film and my eyes could die happy.
I agree, "Revenge" is quite different. Better, actually.
Did you think this season was better or worse than S2? Because I felt it was MUCH stronger, overall. Believe me, I've been frustrated with episodes AND character development at times, certainly. But there are plenty of people here who are just admittedly "hate watching", which to me seems like a major waste of time…
The white dress, Victoria's black mourning gear, the pulling of the blood red scarf as she collapsed, the green of her day coat….another reason to love this episode, it looked GORGEOUS. Kudos to production design.
95% of what people, total viewership or AV Club viewers, as you'd have to admit there's a difference.
True, good thing I already said it was the best episode of the season, or I could be included in your inference!
This was the best episode of the season and it gets a B? What if it was called "Girls", instead?
Last season she hated everyone and believed in nothing, except killing walkers, anyway. She was on board with Hershel's daughter killing herself.
You know Mr. Esposito is a stand-up guy when he calls Stephen King "a great director." Seriously, he deserves to be in all the media stuffs.
I liked it. Also a great pick for the AV Club because people will enjoy bitching about some half-second of a moment when they notice Maslany's accent didn't change.
