I’m pretty sure LED headlights were standard starting in 2021.

Three old, rich, white guys. Pass.

There are people in my daughters class that say they’re going with their whole families this weekend to the Area 51 storming. She’s in 8th Grade. We live near Seattle. Never underestimate how stupid some people can be.

They have a member system that is currently in testing. A few larger channels have it.

How could you have missed the Uma Thurman version?

I saw it in standard 3d and then in IMAX 2d. In the second viewing the first segment of the film was fine. But in standard 3d it was way, way too dark at the beginning.

I have seen many, many films in theaters. But there is only one I walked out of: Under Siege II: Dark Territory. Bad effects. Painful acting (that was expected, honestly.) Sped-up fight sequences (the worst!) and torture scenes that were gratuitous and pointless. The whole thing was a mess. (And I like most action

My wife discussed with me a rare disease based on something she had heard on the radio earlier in the day, while driving in the cart. She is not on Facebook or any social networks. I am not friends with any of her friends on Facebook relevant to this. I did not perform any searches for this information since I was

Wants to show off how good the Eye-AF system is... sets camera aperture to 11 where everything within 20 feet is in focus. C’mon Giz.

Yes. Pre-recorded. Probably because “real life” robot battles aren’t as nearly entertaining as everyone would like them to be.

Kind of amazing that the same company that produces Live PD also does DC Cupcakes.

Thanks for this. First technical reason I’ve seen and that makes sense.

Yes. Moving from 16 to 32 in our iMac 5k workstations increased performance noticeably. 30 minute TV shows shot in 4k can be kind of resource intensive. (Our Mac Pros have only ever had 64GB, so I can’t compare.) Now, we don’t always need that on the road, but I still feel the sting of when we bought MacBook Pros that

Yes, we also have Mac Pros in the office. However, a lot of work is also done on the road and we currently use MacBook Pros for that.

Fine and all. But why is the max RAM in the new MacBook Pro only 16GB? That makes no sense. We have desktop video editing systems in our office that have 64 and we use all of it every day. They should at least offer a 32GB option.

iMovie on an iPad Pro is actually pretty awesome already.

They way they demonstrated it for video editing is brilliant. No interest in a touch-screen, this is much better for what we do. Now where’s my dual NVIDIA GPUs? That hardware needs more punch then what they provided.

Just yesterday I replaced my Fitbit Charge HR (which was falling apart, thanks to a non-user-replacible strap on that first one) with a Fitbit Charge 2 (replaceable straps, ftw.) I never have to turn my phone’s ringer on, and I never miss a call or message thanks to discrete notifications on my wrist. I considered the

Wrong Higgins. The Isle of Man Higgins is his brother, Mark.

Yes, but Jason Dawes (?) was a poor fit from the start. It was clear he needed to go from episode 1.
