I never managed to play Messenger, but Sea of Stars looks incredible so I might have to get both. That’s kind of the exact retro-ish style RPG I’ve been craving lately and nothing has been scratching that itch.

Man, I hate to get all boomery, but I really miss when this game was just about killing 15 fish monsters so a guy would give you a hat.

“Make me avocado toast!”

I think your thinking is wrong.

I have the 64gb slow model and all my games are on the SD card. So like the slowest possible setup you could have with the Steam Deck. It’s fine. Way faster than anything else I’ve ever played on. I could easily order a 1TB faster drive and pop it in but I see no cause to do so right now.

Exactly how it should be. The grim dark era of the mid 2000s was meh

I hope devs keep exploring low framerate compensation and give us 40fps caps like we see in ratchet and clank on PS5. It’s great to see so many tools in the toolbelt now devs just need to use them.

I’m sure you thought this was super genius material, but I promise you they aren’t marketing this dumb shit to the bottomless bank accounts of the lesbian gaming community.

Confused where I said anything like that. What I said was that, based off the skimpy clothing substitutions forced on you and that ridiculous sashay walk cycle, the game appears to be made for the 13 year old male gaze. I’m not oppressing anyone pointing out the shitty design choice these folks made.

Of course not

After Remake 3. I kinda would like if they did Code Veronica instead of 4.

This is super ironic to me. Let me tell ya, I’ve been served, time and time again, the eternal argument AGAINST backward compatibility by Sony fanboys saying that they much prefer Sony invest its money in making new games instead, and that BC was for Xbox losers, that anyone who wants to play old game should just keep

Try Destructoid.  I’ve been finding their news generally pretty reliable and click-bait less.  They’re not as fast to grab breaking news as other sites but I can’t argue with their overall editorial style.  Polygon is something I started reading on the side as they fill in the gaps where Destructoid lacks.

On a story which has nothing to do with Harry Potter or J.K. Rowling in the first place.

…Quidditch, the favorite wizard sport of transphobes everywhere,…

“We have news, this guy is leaving today” is clearly not something that was planned well in advance, and with a mutual understanding of how to handle this departure gracefully. Something is wrong here.

I mean that robot was going pretty slow. It seems like a nice way to make some progress while you rest and try to get your stamina back up? But if that’s how you try to approach every delivery in this game you are finishing this in 200 hours.

Bro if you invest the time and resources to build a good zipline network deliveries become absolutely trivial. You can max out all 5 stars on every shelter in no time.

You know what? I’ve been reading Kotaku since Dead Rising was about to come out. I’m finally done with the large swathes of negative posts. Every day this week have been negative spins on any topic. I know it’s probably their parent company’s fault, but these fake outrage posts and grasping for negative takes is too

In other words, they seem to miss the point.”

This dude’s face is so punchable.
