Please point out to me in either the WSJ article or in the FXA summary where it is implied or suggested that Trump personally ordered it.

I see  your personal biases are influencing how you read the article, because there is no implication whatsoever that he ordered it. In fact the implication is that this was all done behind his back to avoid upsetting him because he such a snowflake.

Reading that article made me in no way think that the president ordered it; all it conveyed is that some staffer thought to hide the boat less the pOTUS saw it and threw a tantrum.

Why would you go by the president’s tweet at all? You believe him? Also, the article didn’t imply anything - it said that the directive came from the WH (which it clearly did), and then posted the President’s tweet denying that he gave the order.

Nobody implied he ordered it. The order was to HIDE the ship so he didn’t know it was there. Why do you think Trump would order that? Wouldn’t that defeat the purpose?
