Best driven, most exciting race I’ve ever seen.

Bwaaaahahahahaha! You’re resorting to critiques on the efficacy of someone’s autocorrect/spellcheck program? Play on, Player! PS - I get that you’re embarrassed by the thread (or maybe totally oblivious?), but really man?
Why? Because you’ve made yourself such an easy target. And it is germaine to the conversation, as one must always consider the source. Which means one must first identify the source. I think we’ve effectively done that. With aplomb.
I think you misunderstood. You’re a hot hatch fanboy, as I predicted long before you mentioned anything of your Focus ST. And wait, you calling it “your version of a sports car” is indeed not you calling it a ‘sports car’? Did they teach you this sort of logic at Wayne St, Western Michigan, Devry, or whatever pay for…
Oh, and P.S. - There’s no such thing as a “hot hatch sportscar”. Not for millenials, not for anyone else. Even if your friends have zero background or experience with which to base such an assertion. The fact that you think otherwise is more telling than you’ll ever know. Then again, your generation has been buying…
I think you’ve confused yourself. You never told me what car you drove.
I made several assumptions about you based upon your comments, your age being only one of them. Comments reflecting an unwillingness to see a hot hatched dismissed. Turns out I was spot on, right down to not only the type of hot hatch you drive, but the color. So there’s that...
BWAAAAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!!! Oh, how did I know?!? Freaking awesome.
Lol...ok, if you say so. Fanboy on, son. Fanboy on...
I kust gave you you a link that says you’re going to pay at least $39K. Look, my guess is that you’re 28-32 years old and are sort of a boy racer, target market for hot hatches. In your mind they’re sports cars, because you’ve grown up without without a lot of real options in that regard. So Fanboy on, dream about…
You didn’t even know the cost of a golf r and you’re accusing others of “pulling numbers out of their ass?” And the line “I was one of the first 10 people in the country to get an ST” has Fan boy written all over it, to say the least. I suspected, but now it’s confirmed. Thanks. LOL
You’re probably correct. I would settle for a Mazda 6 with RWD as well, not that it could ever happen.
Potentially worse. German cars are every bit as unreliable. Those days aren’t over because it’s still true. Sadly.
Oh, and yeaaaaaahhh....”way under $40K”:
It’s a nice car, and is about abouts close to what I’m describing as you can get. It is still however two things: 1) heavy - yes some of this is because is a midsized sedan as opposed to something with sportier dimensions, but still; and 2) it’s a GM and thus, like Ford or Chrysler, not something one wants to own past…
Oh, so they’re going to let you option it exactly the way you want? Oh, I stand corrected.... And since when are 41.75 and 43 drastically different? Have at it, buy this thing if it makes you happy.
I think you misunderstood. My Comment on it being a Ford had to do with reliability, or lack thereof. The cost, with those specs however, will be close to that number. An STi, the Focus R’s main comp, is $39ish by the time you’re done.
