Which is a shame. Would it really be asking too much for asking WRX with the front wheel drive portion deleted?

Business cases change. That’s the only constant. Of course, this requires taking a risk. I’m only asking for a WRX with RWD only. That is not an over the top business case.
I would be more than happy to pay stripped 320i prices. Now does it have to be a bloated pig come robot mobile?
I purchased the 2 door variant this year, called an FR-S. Wish a 4 door variant existed.
It will still be a Ford, meaning that reliability and service will be suspect. It will still push in the corners. It will probably cost $43K plus. I’m not feeling it. Can’t someone, anyone, make an affordable, light, RWD four door?
I don’t know man....just hard to get that excited over a car that is likely to give the owner a lot of bizarre and expensive problems over the course of his/her ownership. Right up until the time that the manufacturer leaves the U.S. market again.
So...a BMW with with different grill? Similar right down to the poor reliability and running costs both brands exhibit? Maybe there’s hope in curb weight? Make it 3,000 lbs and I might be interested.
In other words, Ballaban thinks no one should make any money. It should all be about something more, no mater how vaguely he wants to define what “more” is.
Some fucked up kid kills 9 innocents, and you people are preoccupied with a flag. Does the stupidity ever cease?
How about the other way around? What highly depreciate asset is worth $60K new? I mean, how valuable can rich Corinthian leather and 30 step infotainment system be?
Watch out for electrical issues in particular.
Again, god bless you if you think that’s all you’re going to have to do to it during that time (or even that’s what the stuff you’ve identified will cost you). Maybe you’ll get lucky? But chances are probably not. It’s not really a matter of are you going to pay a lot in in ownership costs? But rather “is it going to…
God love ya. I get that some folks have to learn the hard way. You will likely be saddled with costs from 1/2 to even the full purchase price over the course of the next 5 years if you put 15K miles miles a year on it. Mechanics refer to BMW as “bring my wallet” for a good reason.
Have you purchased and owned a 100K mile BMW? Have you dealt with the part and labor costs? It is not pretty.
Well, the “for dicks” comment aside, I was thinking that anyone willing to pay that much money for a 110,000 mile German car is leaving “more for me” in the game of life/personal finance. No offense, it’s just not smart from a risk/reward perspective.
Sounds like I hurt yours? LOL!
Umm...yeah...don’t do business in New Orleans. America’s most corrupt city.
That’s right. For hundreds of years, thousands of comedians, making millions of gay jokes, and getting hundreds of millions of laughs from it, have all been doing it all wrong. We should all know better. Or should at least check with you first.
Although time trials really aren’t full on racing.
Who said that I said rally drivers weren’t racers?
