Odd, I don't remember the water temple being that bad. Sure, you had to hit start to get your boots on and off, but Link must have had it a lot harder having to get the boots from his bag of holding and onto his feet while swimming.

I think the actual feasibility of an invasion is not important in a work of fiction. The key is convincing your audience to suspend their disbelief, which is entirely dependent on how well it's presented.

@Variatas: It was partially voiced. NPCs had a few phrases they'd use. But the actual conversations were text...with hyperlinks to apropos journal entrys!

My college roommates and I used to tear up AOL cd's and mail the broken pieces back to credit card companies in their business reply envelopes. Sometimes we'd throw a Far Side cartoon in to take the sting out of it.
