+1 for the 4C.
The night prior...
Cool to watch the driver just processing what had just occurred and calmly shut the vehicle down.
wonder how many people before this picture realized the license plate says NE 1 4 69...
I'd take the RX-7 home... So I can have spare parts!
Epic video, but I'm surprised no ones mentioned the fact that they imply all this is being done with no helmets... in a fully caged car.
*walks up to anyone who enjoys cars and has driven a manual CRX Si or Integra Type R*
To answer, the 914 for the sound, but the 328... gorgeous.
You're right. I did not intend to suggest car maker unreliability (cars are 80% about the maintenance as far as that goes, if not more; like you said) just pointing out in his case it was the only stereotypical 'likely to break' thing (the dreaded single headlight pop-up) that had kept on trucking when he had it (he…
Pretty robust too, I only occasionally hear of FD pop-ups dying out. I had a friend with a probe with practically the only thing he hadn't had to work on or replace was the pop-ups. Always heard they were off the FC though, but maybe for later years it changed.
Made me remember the time when I went to a car meet once with my FD and someone walked up and complimented me on my 'tricked out' probe...
It's a difficult decision, but I think I'll keep my rx7.
I got a pretty shameful one from several years back... So a couple of my friends and I were driving in convoy back to our apt from working on/cleaning our cars at the odd hours of night. The cars were a 04 corolla, 06 ion, and 98 camaro (mine). Both me and the corolla were pretty solid gearheads, and the ion was just…
Electric Exhaust Cutout, QTP is a big brand that makes them for nearly any size. It was the next item on my list for my camaro before it got killed by a deer.
Seems as though jalopnik has a thing for the RX-7, third gen in particular. As an owner of an FD, I wholeheartedly approve. It was a car I longed for and am lucky to have a chance at owning; and coming from a heavier car with roughly the same power/weight ratio, there really is a difference in how this car just...…
I'm curious how Audi has approached the increased tire wear associated with FWD especially in an endurance race series, are there rules in place that level the playing field or is Audi just that good to defy physics?
True, but seeing as this is more of a show car condition-wise I would expect potential buyers to care more about keeping the original engine and rebuilding it if necessary. I own a 3rd gen so I've never checked the availability of rebuild kits for the older rotaries such as the 10A and 12A but I remember my friend who…
Honestly I think this was just posted to see how high of a NP % you can get, I'd be willing to bet that more than a few people are calling about getting a compression test done on that motor with cash in hand to buy depending on the outcome, especially after this posting.
