I get after reading all of your comments that you mean walking back into the showroom from the self-service/as-is area, but walking into THAT area through the checkouts and exit, getting what you need, and then returning to the checkout is a non-issue…

You know, all those hacker burglars running around. Don't get me wrong, paper in a bank cell is technically safer (assuming bank employees don't read it) but this fear of "hacking" in this case is overblown. If a burglar wants to know what you own, they have easier ways of finding out.
