Lovely! Who wants to eat some food saturated with Jet A and 100+ Low Lead aviation fuel?

Wow.
Especially modern motorcycles, and more so with modern adventure bikes off road. So many guys just turn off the ABS and say they can brake better in the slippery stuff. Nope. If you mash the ABS, yes it’s shit. If you threshold brake and use the ABS as a ‘last 5% solution’ rather than a first 95% solution it works…
How was the writer so lazy that they couldn’t bother to list the MPG for every vehicle? Did he bang this out at 4:15 on a Friday?
The Teslas are dumb, but you could easily install downsized electric buses or electric rubber tire trains built to fit in the tunnels, or cybertrucks trucks towing cheaply made passenger trailers with questionable safety. Haul 40+ people per vehicle instead of 3.
A electric sports car with a light(ish) battery and a rotary range extender would work well. A computer would be capable of doing everything right in an attempt to not turn your rotary into a apex seal eating machine. Including using the motor/generator to run the motor without fuel for awhile every now and then as a…
Stainless fabricator here. If I got a cybertruck to be my work truck (and made a tall custom canopy), I would just random orbit sand the entire truck. Or get it sandblasted with a fine media. Matte stainless is great, the random orbit finish is even better. If you scratch it up, just sand out the scratches and don’t…
While driving with a 84 year old ‘artist’, he drove the wrong way down an on-ramp. Twice.
Did you read between the lines there? Oil pump drive BELT. This is as bad as Chevy using a 3.0 duramax engine that has a rear mounted oil pump drive belt, requiring transmission removal to change it. A belt has no business driving a oil pump. It needs to be direct drive, INSIDE the engine and good for the life of the…
I spent years as a mechanic and for anyone brave enough to buy a early vehicle...HA HA HA HA HA HA.
The death wobble is usually the control arm bushings. However worn ball joints both make it worse, and will be caused by the wear of that death wobble. Do not live with this problem as it will tear up every pivot.
Nonsense. The melting points of plastics is highly variable. There are plenty of quality plastics that are immune to this problem. This is 100% cost cutting.
This is called using cheap plastic. We never had this problem before. But cost cutting. Add HONDA USES CHEAP PLASTIC, THIS WAS JUST SUN DAMAGE labels to every melted panel and park it out front of the dealership. Get results very quickly.
The early model S motors has steel bearings instead of ceramic. Magnetic flux eats steel balls because the balls have a slight electrical charge and that has material transfer. I wonder if they are not updating the old motors to the newer ceramic bearings. Or maybe that’s just how long they last.
Give me a plug in hybrid with 100km of electric only range and I’ll bite. I only need a tiny ICE motor, much like a prius.
Maybe I’ll wait until I find a keyed up scratched up hail damaged written off cybertruck at auction and re-certify it. I think these things will look awesome beat to piss. Maybe do a random orbit swirl finish to hide some of the battle damage, and cyber punk the shit out of the rest of it.
That BMW may do good in ‘initial’ reliability but all that plastic under the hood is designed to crumble and fall apart after a few years of heat cycling.
Somewhere around ‘93-94 the Cavalier/Sunfire head gaskets were being replaced under warranty. GM decided to fuck over all it’s technicians and pay something like 2.3 hours to do a head gasket. The mechanics were furious. So the answer in the shop was to bang out the head bolts with a impact gun, pry up the cylinder…
Require high speed licenses and extensive driving experience with any future hosts. My suggestion: Rowan Atkinson (channeling Black adder). He’s got serious experience with vintage car racing. Keep Chris Harris. He was keeping the show afloat and knows what he’s doing.
Another CR-Z. Worse in every performance metric except crash and emissions. So they don’t want you comparing it to the older versions.
