Not being realistic isn't the problem - Homeland's not meant to be a documentary. The problem is whether it's believable, which is different.  It doesn't matter if it's Homeland, Superman or Ratatouille… you can't get emotionally invested in a story unless they make it believable.

We have them here in Berlin for longer movies - I found it kind of annoying in The Dark Knight Rises and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo: in the former it broke a lot of tension the movie had been building up, and in the latter it came right at the point of a major revelation.  That said, I think they'd be a good idea…
