Verhoeven is totally underrated.  If anything, I thought he lost it after Basic Instinct (sorry, not a fan, and he did better with “The 4th Man”), but had renewed interest after Black Book.  Good to see he is making more interesting films.

So it looks like The Seychelles (pop. 100k), which had 60% vaccination (60% with Sinopharm, rest AstraZeneca), is now seeing an uptick in COVID cases. If anything, unless we are hitting 90%, don’t even think we are getting “herd immunity”.
