I picked up Unavowed this week and plan on giving it a go this weekend. Glad I’m not the only one enticed by the idea of a party-based point-and-click adventure.

“enough supporting characters to fill a Dickens novel”
The psychopathic dog could either be Cujo or The Sun Dog (although Four Past Midnight was published in 1990).
I will never understand the inclination some people have to refer to Zelda-style adventure games as RPGs.
I imagine Chik-fil-a ranks so high because their service and management is second to none. They’re borderline cultists, but you’re going to get a better experience there than you will at the average Burger King.
Sad news. Gameological was the big reason I powered through the Kinjacolypse, even as my time on the rest of the site dwindled to nearly nothing. Good luck in your next endeavor!
One thing that gets overlooked in discussions of this game is how much progress you can make in a short time. You can generally finish each chapter in about an hour, maybe hour and a half depending on whether or not you feel the need to grind. Combined with its portability, and it really feels like a game you can sit…

If you want a 4K TV, you should really shell out for HDR support. It makes way more of a difference than resolution.

How is the UI these days? I’d be willing to give the game a shot, but I’ve read that the interface and crafting systems are just atrocious.
What was especially weird is that there’s nothing in the source material to suggest her eyes are supposed to be anything but ordinary.
Pick up somewhere between the end of Uncharted 4 and the epilogue of Uncharted 4. Easy as pie.
Chrichton’s Jurassic Park has flaws, but it has different interests and strengths that make it quite a bit different from the film adaptation. Bentley’s Jaws ultimately feels like an inferior version of the film.
In Sunless Sea? Something weird and possibly sinister, no doubt.
Hollow Knight is awesome, and a week or two after beating it I’m still jonesing for something as substantial and gripping to fill the void.
I’ll be playing Octopath Traveler. I was very impressed by the demo, as it seems to be a bit of a return to the quirky ambition of 90's and early aughts Square (warts and all). My biggest question is that I read that your choice of primary protagonist determines the final quest, and I’m curious what that means. Do you…
My one complaint about Hollow Knight is that the true final boss is goddamn ridiculous. I’ve beaten just about every other boss in the game, including Nightmare King Grimm, but the true ending eludes me.
I didn’t care for the tonally dissonant writing of Bravely Default, which whiplashed between whimsical and grim, with frequent forays into bizarrely sexual situations. Octopath seemed a lot more cohesive right out of the gate.
