It feels almost exactly halfway between 1 and 2.

It's Borderlands but with armor.

Am I wrong? It's beautiful and functional, but the writing is uninspired and so, despite the technology on display, it's ultimately rather bland and forgettable. And just as Avatar has best-in-class 3D, Destiny has best-in-class FPS controls, but it turns out that just isn't enough to make something truly great.

I think Baby Mario would be a better character if he still had his adult mustache.

My boyfriend and I played Dark Souls: The Board Game last weekend! It does go pretty quick once it gets going, but it's very grindy and hard to make progress. The game recommends giving the player 16 souls in a solo game to start off, and after wiping out in our first game we felt that it would probably be best if we

It looks like more Destiny, the Avatar of the video game world, so…ehhhh.

Persona 5 got me jonesing for more JRPG goodness, so I'm back to Tokyo Mirage Sessions. It's kind of like Power Rangers if the Power Rangers were pop idols managed by an alcoholic who isn't above seducing the teenage boys she manages if it makes her feel young again.

A bad one.

It got so far as to be referenced in the official guide, which is nuts.

Ciphers are pretty handy, but I'd rather play as one or make a hireling than use her, if given the choice. I'm glad that she's not returning in the sequel.

I just don't like her. She feels—and this might sound offensive—but she feels like a fanatical pro-lifer. I just want to say to her, "Not everything has to be about babies and childbirth. People, even good, devoted parents, have other interests, and there are other things that matter in the world."

Grieving Mother is probably my least favorite character. She's weird and off-putting in a deeply creepy way, and I never side wholly with her.

I think Avellone didn't have much to do with the overall story. In fact, he left Obsidian after the game was released, seemingly due to being kind of irked by it. He wrote Grieving Mother (the most tediously creepy character in the game) and Durance.

Pillars is an interesting one. I don't think it sells its plot well enough, but it's a really interesting final choice, as no matter what you choose to do you are effectively contributing to the long-term scheme of the organization you were fighting the whole game. I hope the sequel explores the tensions in the

Have you played Total Warhammer? The AI isn't amazing, by any means, but the fantasy setting lets them work around some of its limitations in a number of ways, and Steam Workshop functionality can go a ways towards making things a lot better.

I've seen people complain about Dishonored not having a "gameplay loop," and it's like, that's what makes it special.

I'll give the "I can't talk" guy a pass. Hell, I'll give just about anybody a pass on a single text or forgetting to turn off their volume; shit happens, and I'm not a monster. But it's the constant stuff that rankles me, and I don't think it has died as much as you think it has.

It really does bother me, and I decide on which theater to go to based on the behavior of the people I encounter when I go. I live within walking distance from a theater and I never go there because every time I do there's a drunk futzing around or texters or some other horrible person in the theater; I don't know if

I'm talking about the commenter @disqus_MXruTxjfOZ:disqus , not the dipshit in the article.

Yeah, once I was in a theater and this guy's phone kept going off. Super annoying. Then another moviegoer shouts, "Dude, turn off your fucking phone!" Phone guy got up and left and didn't return. Rest of the movie went much smoother, and it was really heartening to see good etiquette being enforced. Easy choice.
