This episode was a lot funnier than last week's. I don't know if they felt they got all the setup they needed and got the straight noir homages out of their system or what, but this episode got straight to the funny stuff.

But she's either at work or not. If she spends about 50% of her time at work, it's basically accurate.

I'm playing Persona 5 and finally finding success with the Empire in Total War: Warhammer. Fuck you, Khazrak, you goat-headed piece of shit! Let's see how much you pillage when you're roasting over a fire!

The original ending was a freeze frame of Wendy and Danny laughing over a joke set to a jaunty music sting.

Yeah, turns out that Tony is actually just Danny from the future trying to warn his past self.

One of the many reasons the ABC miniseries is so much better!

The ending is kind of an exploitative tearjerker, but the whole reason it's sad is that it's horrifically bleak. It would be like a movie where modern humans thaw out a Neanderthal child and then euthanize him after letting him hug a stuffed mammoth at a museum because it's the kindest thing they can do.

I think replacing the crappy elements of Twilight with the crappy elements of Castlevania will be a lateral move.

Huh, so she got the idea straight from a fundamentalist sect? I guess all those social conservatives who derided the story for being sensationalist and unfair were being about as honest as I thought they were.

Sure, he's basically responsible for that godawful Power Rangers movie, but let's fuck up another innocent childhood property and see how it goes.

"because it tends to be too favourable to localization"

Honestly, I think we're arguing about two different things. If there were a Spanish language translation, you would want it to be a good one. "I'd rather everyone get a sub-par translation than only one language group get a decent one" is your position on P5, brought about by the realities of Atlas' localization

My opinion is that I want dialogue that sounds natural to me. I don't want references to subject matter that wouldn't make sense for the characters, but I don't want stilted grammar or syntax either.

I cannot fathom why anyone at the WSJ would win anything for coverage last year. All they've been doing is toeing the GOP line; they haven't contributed anything meaningful to the discourse.

You can get a Playstation TV for like 50 bucks or less now, which would get you access to Persona 4 Golden to play on your choice of HDMI-enabled screen. You would need a PS3 controller, though.

That Atlus will take that view is a chilling possibility.

I'm glad I read that spoiler. I actually lucked out and got a really nice piece of gear for Morgana from washing a single piece of clothing, but I think I'll wait until later if I find any more.
