If any wants to get good and depressed (and read a good story) I recommend the Northlanders: The Plague Widow trade that is coming out. The title is probably the cheeriest part of the story.

The Incredible, Droid X, and Droid 2 are all listed at $299 and a $100 rebate on the Verizon wireless site right now. It wouldn't be surprising at all if the Pro is the same.

@scion676: Considering that lots of airlines offer in flight wifi this isn't necessarily a bad thing. I've used inflight wifi on my Droid before.

@grassisgreen: Boeing provides parts of the body of the aircraft and the avionics integration.

I hate to make a comment about something other than Millar, but I'm really looking forward to Vertigo Resurrected. Hellblazer: Shoot is quite a story.

@ellito: Yes, and none of that can happen while people are sitting up.

@Malfunktion v2: I've been very happy with Shadow ROM. I like it more than Bugless Beast or Sapphire but they've both released new versions since I last tried them.

@longdaddy: I'd go a bit further and say that misleading article is misleading. The solution is definitely tires.

So what you're saying is that Gizmodo will make a big deal about this and then once the phones are rooted and custom ROMs come out there will be no word of it. Just like with the Droid X. Good to know.

@JoshUng: I'm not sure what it's availability truly is but the original Droid pops up every once in a while on wireless.amazon.com for $0.01 with a new contract or renewal.

@Deez: Their recommendation is probably based on the fact that it takes a couple of minutes of effort to replace Bing on the Fascinate with google search.

@FauxReal: They do have custom ROMs for the Droid X. All of Gizmodo's yammering about how the efuse would cause the phone to explode if you tried to load a custom ROM was complete bullshit.

@deleahrium: Verizon has offered some phones that are CDMA and GSM capable for years now.

@DRaGZ: Actually it was a cooler. And at least it wasn't just full of rocks. And running around with a cooler full of hand grenades strapped to your back is just an awesome thing to do.

@DRaGZ: I don't know how Atomic Robo can hate Dr. Dinosaur. Dr. Dinosaur is the greatest time-traveling mad scientist dinosaur ever.

@somekindarobit: With "wifi near" Tasker will turn on wifi, check to see if it can find the SSID (or MAC Address) specified, and if it doesn't then it will turn wifi back off. I use this for some profiles as it allows for a smaller area than "cell near".

@Fronzbot: Gizmodo would look less oblivious if they paid attention to the date of the article they're quoting. It's from 2002.

Yes, it all depends on the direction of the inner vents. The inner vents should work to pump air from the center of the disc to the outer edges. The direction of the slots/drill holes just depends on what the manufacturer chooses.

If it's available with a 7'+ bed and 1 ton+ payload capacity like my Comanche I'll be interested.
