@Philip_Fry: Yeah, it's nice that someone is liveblogging the Verizon event.

@jamjen: That's pretty much exactly how I feel about my Droid. No real complaints but a little extra zip would be nice.

I love my Comanche. Compact pickup, torquey engine, longish bed (7 foot), 4WD, and a 2,200 pound payload capacity. Sadly there's nothing like it available in the US today. The closest thing will be the Mahindra if it ever shows up.

It's too bad Jeeps can't be all American like back in the day. The good old boys at Renault did a fine job with the engineering on my 88.

@frigg: Actually it was an embarrassing element in the contingency guide of more oil companies than just BP. Which is an even sadder state of affairs.

@dallasmay: ESPN3 doesn't show all of the same things as regular ESPN does. And it is only a rebranding of ESPN360 which has been around for quite a while.

@Alluvian: 5.42 is the closest that you can get to 5 feet 5 inches if you only use 2 decimal places. It wouldn't be hard to get that reasonably accurate.

@viperacr133: I agree. I use slacker way more than pandora on my Droid.

@AdamKaoru: I think its probably more the fact that there are a ton of 3rd party media apps for android and most people probably use those and not the built in app.

@MrHaroHaro: I don't know that it will be any good this go round but I think ESPN/ABC is using a different crew of commentators this time around.

@dataPOG: Well the M-21 does have its own little plane.

@oddfish: I'm a big fan of the upgraded engine + standard cab + 4WD + longbed combination that you can't get from anyone in the US these days. The Mahindra truck will be the closest thing out there.

Its not the Flex but it seems like I've seen a ton of F-150 Platinums lately. The Flex Titanium seems less crazy than that.

@pj134: I just pulled the carpet from mine last weekend. A fair amount of surface rust on the floor pans but nothing that will require new sheet metal to take care of. Not bad considering that it was originally bought in Massachusetts and spent at least some time as a snow plow. It even has a warning regarding

@pj134: Craigslist. There are almost always a couple available here in Seattle. Probably because cars don't rust here like they do in much of the country. Finding one for a good price, in the configuration that I wanted, and that hadn't been beat within an inch of its life did take a while.

@pj134: I picked mine up a few months ago and it's great. Unfortunately its originally from the northeast so it has some rust but mostly in unimportant places. It's a 4x4 Metric Ton so it has the factory Dana 44 out back, a long bed, and most importantly the sweet Metric Ton badge on the tailgate.

@pj134: It kinda sorta reminds me of my Grenadine Metallic Comanche so I like it. Or at least what the interior painted panels of the Comanche where the paint is still original and in good shape look like.

@Cheeseslap: The curb weight of the normal Regal is 3600 pounds. Hopefully the sporty version isn't 900 pounds heavier.
