As it turns out, a lot of people. When I pitched this idea to my friends, they quickly reminded me that I write for Jalopnik, where the readers love their old Volvos and Mercedes, and if I crushed one – no matter how tattered and awful – I would be considered the automotive writer equivalent to your first-grade friend

I'm always concerned I'll get too distracted watching a movie, lose coordination, and fall off the treadmill. It hasn't happened yet, but I can see it clearly in my mind. I prefer watching sports with a lot of exertion, like hockey, since there is no plot or anything to pay attention to, just a lot of action and dudes

That's Sebring! Those Audi bastards...probably going to not even display it or anything during the 12 hour. I hear the Nissan is there too.

By now, you've probably seen the video where I use a Hummer to crush a Chrysler PT Cruiser. If you haven't, then boy, that was a hell of a spoiler.

Here's hoping.

I hope to never engineer a problem so complex that you had to go to Cal Tech to unwind it.

Neutral: Would You Buy A Subaru? If you were in the market for a new car would you at least cross-shop it?

So V12 Ferrari or 996 Porsche Turbo?

Way better than the "interview" with the Nissan Titan guy. Did we ever find out what happened? I envisioned him retreating to a corner and sobbing, refusing to come back to the computer.

At the very least, swap the Speedo and the Tach.

Don't worry, old-man-you is going to rue your youthful bad decisions when he looks at his 401k balance. An FR-S is not quite as bad of a bad decision as a $45k car.

Quick son! Jump out and spend $45k on a car before you have any real financial obligations!

Not very subtle and leaves no doubt...more people need to be like that.

Following the progression of the Celica through later generations, this answer makes sense.

Could you please repeat the question?

Ahhh, January and February. The one time of year when Floridians get to laugh at the rest of the country for a change.

I'm not saying the drivers are hick, but the series itself is backwater. It's where drivers go to retire after washing out of F1/GP2, or it is the beginning and end of their careers (Andrettis, Rahals). It's wholly American, and Americans don't have the best record for racing in Europe unless they started out racing

There better be some SR20s in there!

Hype, irrationality, momentum investors, people who don't know how the stock market is supposed to work, gullible fools, and bigger fools.
