In my case, the blinking lights are too subtle, so I’ll usually hit the button twice, hand out-stretched with the fob, to get the horn so that everybody in my vicinity knows that is my car.

Always referred to driving around with parking lights on as “cop mode” since those are usually the only cars you would see doing this.

Having lived in a ground floor apartment with parking spaces right outside the bedroom window...thanks. I also try and do the same thing, but am also foiled by the stupid “DRLs on unless the handbrake is on” logic.

I’m a big fan of parking lights, but I just gave up since my Tundra’s DRLs make it so damn difficult. If you are driving and want to turn on just the parking lights with the DRLs off, here are the steps.

How is that a problem with the engine? Fix the WG or whatever and prevent the overboost. If I find my car hitting boost numbers I’m not comfortable with, then I give the WG actuator a twist and go back to the track.
