“...they can even tell you the best materials to use for the bearings and impeller.” BMW seriously needs to start hiring some of these engineers.
“A cab will be arriving within 40 minutes”. It’s like they share a dispatcher with AAA and The Cable Company.
...nor is the human liver
I would like to retroactively submit the del sol as the best beach car (not a jeep). Way better than an eclipse spyder.
I just saw Soundgarden a couple weeks ago too. I was amazed that they hadn’t lost a step after all these years, and that Chris Cornell could still belt it out like he used to.
Wow! Good read!
Tech inspections for most drift events I’ve been to check to see if the battery is properly secured, you have a fire extinguisher, and there’s nothing loose in the car. My harnes is not really proper since it’s a 5pt I use as a 4pt, but no tech inspection (SCCA, drift, local autox club) has ever called me out on that.
3 point belts will allow/direct your body to move in a somewhat controlled way in a rollover situation. A harness will keep you nice and upright while your car rolls over and crushes you. The safety systems all work together. If you want a harness to improve safety, then it needs to be a package deal with the seat and…
Airism are damn near perfect. Supportive, but not uncomfortably so.

Right, it isn’t just the 2JZ. The 1UZ is similarly overbuilt.
The cut on the Ex Officios is weird. It’s like they’re made for grandpa trousers because they easily come up past my belly button. They really do work as advertised though, so I have a few pairs I’ll use for travelling and hiking.

I once asked Lewis that question, and he said the exact same thing about you.
While not quite in Adi’s position, I’ve got a Porsche decision paralysis of my own. Older 911 Turbo, or Cayman S? I know Patrick’s answer. It’s a car I imagine that I would own for many years, so the 911 seems more likely to hold or increase it’s value.
Wow, I would second this. First time I’ve ever heard of it, although I’ve mostly figured it out by now. It could’ve saved me tons of self-doubt, metal anguish, and erosion of trust in past relationships.
That was my assessment when I test drove a WRX. I’m going to spend most of my time commuting to work, so if I’m going to spend that much on a car, then I don’t want to feel like I’m in a used Civic.
You’re a social conservative, but love civil liberties? Does that mean that you want marriage to be between a man and a woman, and “if you were born with a penis, use this bathroom”, but you’re all about the government not dictating who marries whom or which door to pee behind?
Cleveland, that hotbed of startups and innovation. As an exersize for the reader, how long will it take the #2 Cleveland’s 69,693@6.4% increase to reach parity with the #3 SanFran’s 101,083@3.4% increase, or the #3 Nassau’s 74,549@4.7%. I’m genuinely curious, but too lazy to do the calculculation myself.
Just had to reiterate the original Q45 point. J30s are also cool, but mostly because of their junkyard abundance and VLSDs that are a direct fit into S-chassis cars.
How is that possible!? It has the vaunted sr20. Those catch a stiff premium before Race Wars you know.
